Batch
- Passwords in batch-specific INI settings are now stored encrypted. You'll see them clearly when you enter them, but when you save them, they will be encrypted.
- JNRRB.INI setting created under "[Options]" called IgnoreTestConnectivity=0 (or 1 to turn it on). By default if a test connection fails on the first datasource of a multi-datasource report, the report will fail immediately. Turning this setting on, the report will attempt to continue trying to run. This option was added, because we found that *different* datasources that are joined (like an Access table and a SQL Server table) will fail a test connection until all connections credentials have been set.
- Additional log file messages have been added and a redundant one regarding an "INI Setting File Found" has been eliminated
- Bug fixed related to the new XLS/XLSX password protection functionality, with emailed, FTP'd, and Sharepoint files
- Support for NULL parameters added with the release of the Crystal runtime engine, service pack #4 (download link below). You must upgrade to SP4 to utilize this functionality.
- The Crystal runtime version number is now displayed in the log file at start-up
- License deactivation method modified to do a little more clean-up and to close out of the application immediately
- Added additional batch-specific settings validation
- Added PDFPasswordMaster setting to batch-specific options under "[PDF]". This setting allows you to set a master EDITING password so PDF can be modified using Acrobat. This is not the same as the PDFPassword setting, which simply allows the file to be opened for viewing. Setting PDFPasswordMaster will rarely be necessary, but it's there if you need it.
