Version 2012.50 Released - Report Runner Batch and Report Runner Viewer

Batch

  1. Added Advanced XLS/XLSX Support (Merge Multiple Files Into One, Password Protection, Name Sheets); added settings to batch-specific INI right-click menu
  2. Added Email S/MIME support
  3. Change port, TLS, and SSL from Settings, Mail now (previously was strictly JNRRB.INI setting changed externally)
  4. Added Batch variables jnParm1-jnParm30; these can be used anywhere like mail header/footer and subject; jnParm1-jnParm30 is assigned the value of the parameter(s) being set in sequential order of the job
  5. Also added new date variables; jn_yesterdayMM, jn_tomorrowMM, jn_yesterdayDD, jn_tomorrowDD, jn_yesterdayYYYY, jn_tomorrowYYYY, jn_yesterdayYY, jn_tomorrowYY, jn_yesterdaymonth, jn_tomorrowmonth
  6. Fixed a couple of log file messages and added some new messages
  7. Moved instances button on Job edit window (most users don't see this button)
  8. Removed ATTACH button from Twitter jobs (it's not needed)
  9. Added new debugging window for Settings, Mail; if testing fails, messages will be more clear as to what to check to fix problem; also, the error window will now scroll
  10. Fixed Sharepoint URL validation bug
  11. Added batch-specific INI setting for ignoring formula jnOutputFile formula in a report (for times when you don't want this formula used); IgnorejnOuputFileFormulaInReport=1
  12. Added a JNRRB.INI setting to set Global Expressions time value to a long format instead of the default short format; GlobalParameterTimeFormat=Long
Viewer

  1. Fixed auto-close message to reflect countdown time correctly
  2. Auto-refreshed reports will no longer prompt for parameters; it assumes you want to continue using same parameters
  3. Added two new Developer edition command line options to allow for triggering auto-refresh and to buzz/make a sound if the data changes during an auto-refresh
  4. Fixed an issue with single user licenses and RDP
