Following are the 2012.2 release notes:
Batch
- Added better error handling when there is a problem opening a report (problems caused by security, corruption, or Crystal Reports having the report "locked")
- Added additional log file messages for data connection/authentication errors
- Added tooltip to show full license expiration date
- Added more developer license integration for improved co-branding
- Added ability to add a notification report to a GH1 bursting batch
- FTP "test" button now also uploads a test file to your server (it only tested connection previously)
- Added a Mail settings "test" button to Global Settings
- Added options to set additional secure FTP settings in JNRRB.INI, per FTP server. Additionally, the port and active/passive connection settings can be overidden now, too.
- Added naming validation to Global Parameters editing/saving (spaces are not allowed in Global Parameter names)
- Added INI option to JNRRB to enable an "are you sure" type message when you click tab in Job window to view the report (some users were accidentally clicking the view tab by accident); the INI setting is EnableReportTestConfirmation=1, under the [Options] group
- Version 2012 has it's own custom news file now; this enables 2011 users to stay on 2011 without getting 2012 download messages
