We created a solution for a problem Crystal Reports has with exporting to a text file. When Crystal Reports exports to text, it randomly inserts carriage returns, word wraps, line breaks and extra spaces, too. We have been unable to find any consistency in how Crystal Report does all of this in text files. Our solution is to remove ALL of this random formatting and give you a consistent method to format the text file the way you want it (by inserting special keywords like [jnNewLine] and [jnSpace]. This clean-up is triggered by a batch-specific INI setting. This clean-up process currently is done only for mail messages where the report is embedded directly into the message. This allows you to send out a "perfect" (consistently formatted) email message every time.
